Contracts Manager – NW London – Up to £45k
  • Contracts Manager for the UK Inbound Travel Industry with a consistently growing company
  • Developing new and maximising existing relationships with travel suppliers in the London / SE England region

As Contracts Manager you will be:
  • Responsible for the supplier relationships in your allocated regions
  • Developing and maintaining preferred relationships with suppliers to optimise the quality and profitability of services
  • Sourcing hotel space and allocations and grow a strong network of hotels
  • Contracting Hotels & Attractions for FIT and Group business
  • Finding new innovative products and helping the sales team with difficult itineraries and themed tours
  • Negotiating rates and achieving the best tariffs available in order to comply with the clients’ budget and secure a profitable margin
  • Negotiating central agreements with hotel chains; agreeing terms and conditions with individual hotels
  • Reviewing, monitoring and evaluating contract performance and costs
  • Proposing calculation budgets for the following year
  • Being responsible for quality assessment; visiting and inspecting accommodation suppliers in allocated areas on a regular basis to secure quality. This includes classifying standard, updating descriptions, obtaining Health & Safety information and fire certificates
 
The successful Contracts Manager will be:
  • Confident, persuasive and goal-oriented
  • Experienced negotiator
  • Work experience in a purchasing or contracting role
  • Knowledge of the inbound travel industry in the UK
  • Destination knowledge
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
